Make the Filling Base
In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour and milk until smooth. -
Blend in Cheese and Eggs
Add eggs and whisk until combined. Stir in the cheese fondue dough until creamy. -
Prepare the Crust
Grease a removable-bottom cake pan with butter. Line with puff pastry, pressing it into the base and sides. Trim excess and prick the bottom with a fork. -
Assemble the Cake
Pour the cheese mixture into the pastry shell and spread evenly. -
Bake
Preheat oven to 428°F (220°C). Bake for 45 minutes, until the crust is golden and the filling is set but still creamy.
Tip: Tent loosely with foil if the top browns too quickly. -
Rest and Serve
Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing. Remove the pan sides and serve warm.
Serving idea: Bake in mini tart pans for elegant individual portions.
